JUNE 13TH – GIULIETTA & ROMEO HALF MARATHON

Verona is finally back to racing

The attention was on the centre of Verona, thanks to the sport and the wellness, helped by the sun, the heat and the upcoming summer.

4 thousand people were at the start of 14^ Giulietta&Romeo Half Marathon.

 

The winner was Eyob Faniel! He crossed the finish line in 1h03’26’’.

The kenyan Eric Muthomi Riungiu (Atl. Saluzzo) gain the second place with 1h04’10”.

 Yassine El Fathaoui (Circolo Minerva) on the third place with 1h04’11”.

 

Angela Tanui won the female’s race with 1h09’45”, and she also won the special price dedicated to Dario Bergamini, for the best athletic performance of the day.

Second place for the kenyan Giovanna Epis (Carabinieri), running a test for Tokio 2020 Olympics, in 1h11’25”.

 Third step of the podium for the kenyan Susan Chembai Aramisi, who arrived on the finish-line in 1h13’22”.
